If you’re a fan of films that thrive on suspense and mind-twisting endings, then The 100 is one movie you don’t want to miss. Recently making waves on Amazon Prime Video, this Telugu thriller has left audiences speechless with its shocking climax and gripping storytelling.

The Rise of OTT Entertainment

In today’s digital age, viewers are spoiled for choice when it comes to entertainment. Even if a new movie doesn’t hit theatres right away, streaming platforms like Amazon Prime Video and Netflix ensure that audiences are never left waiting. These OTT giants have become home to every possible genre—romance, comedy, drama, action, and crime—serving up something for every mood. With so many titles dropping weekly, it takes a special kind of film to truly stand out.

This is exactly where The 100 has risen above the noise.

What Sets The 100 Apart

Released initially in theatres on July 11, The 100 created a strong buzz during its big-screen run. However, since landing on Prime Video, the film has skyrocketed to the No.1 trending spot, showcasing its wide appeal. Some viewers have even gone so far as to say that its unpredictable finale makes them momentarily forget the hype around Vijay Sethupathi’s Maharaja.

So, what makes this thriller different from the rest?

Plot Overview – A Web of Suspense

The story opens with a tragic incident: a young woman takes her own life following a heated altercation with her boyfriend, who happens to be a hacker. Around the same period, Vikrant, an upright IPS officer known for opposing encounter killings, is tasked with investigating a string of robberies and murders in Hyderabad.

What starts as a seemingly straightforward case soon transforms into a complex web of deception and hidden truths. During his probe, Vikrant crosses paths with Aarti, a bold and independent woman who immediately makes an impression. However, during their second meeting, Vikrant sees a completely different side of her—an unsettling revelation that leaves him questioning everything.

The investigation intensifies when Vikrant successfully cracks a major robbery and recovers stolen jewelry. Among the recovered items lies one piece that belongs to Aarti. This single discovery drags Vikrant into deeply personal territory, unearthing disturbing memories and shifting the story into darker zones filled with unexpected turns. Each revelation pushes the narrative closer to its unforgettable climax—one that audiences insist is impossible to predict.

Why You Should Watch The 100

Directed by Raghav Omkar, The 100 is brought to life with powerful performances from Misha Nair and Dhanya Balakrishna, who anchor the story with intensity and depth. The film currently enjoys an IMDb rating of 7.6, which reflects both its narrative strength and its ability to keep viewers on the edge of their seats.

Streaming exclusively on Amazon Prime Video, this film has quickly emerged as a must-watch for fans of thrillers and Telugu cinema alike. With its mix of suspense, mystery, and emotional depth, The 100 is not just entertainment—it’s an experience that lingers long after the credits roll.
