Slated for release on November 7, 2025, Ek Din is a highly anticipated film starring Sai Pallavi and Junaid Khan. The news was shared by trade analyst Taran Adarsh on Tuesday. This project is notably significant as it marks Sai Pallavi’s Bollywood debut (though no official studio confirmation has been made) and serves as a major reunion for cousins Aamir Khan and Mansoor Khan, who are collaborating after a 17-year hiatus.
The film, directed by Sunil Pandey and produced by Aamir and Mansoor, is also a landmark for bringing Sai Pallavi and Junaid Khan together as an on-screen pair for the first time. Taran Adarsh’s social media update explicitly stated: “#EkDin – which marks the first-ever on-screen pairing of #SaiPallavi and #JunaidKhan – is set for a theatrical release on 7 Nov 2025.”
Aamir and Mansoor Khan’s most recent joint venture was the 2008 hit Jaane Tu…Ya Jaane Na, featuring their nephew Imran Khan and Genelia D’Souza. Mansoor Khan also has a storied directorial history with Aamir, having helmed Qayamat Se Qayamat Tak (Aamir’s 1988 debut), Jo Jeeta Wohi Sikander (1992), and Akele Hum Akele Tum (1995).
Regarding the lead actors, Junaid Khan made his acting debut in 2024 with Sidharth P Malhotra’s Maharaj and was most recently seen alongside Khushi Kapoor in Advait Chandan’s Loveyapa. Sai Pallavi, a prolific star in South Indian Cinema with numerous hits, recently appeared in Naga Chaitanya’s Thandel and is now gearing up for her role opposite Ranbir Kapoor in Nitesh Tiwari’s ambitious Ramayana.
