Rising actor Park Yoon Ho is officially stepping onto the big screen. On September 9, it was confirmed that his first-ever film role will be in the upcoming crime thriller Land, directed by Han Dong Wook.

Park Yoon Ho’s Journey to Film

Park Yoon Ho began his acting career in 2023 with the mystery K-drama Night Has Come, where he performed alongside co-stars Lee Jae In, Kim Woo Seok, Choi Ye Bin, Cha Woo Min, Ahn Ji Ho, and Jung So Ri.

By 2025, he gained wider recognition through two successful dramas: Our Unwritten Seoul—headlined by Park Bo Young, GOT7’s Park Jin Young, Ryu Kyung Soo, Lee Jae In, Im Chul Soo, and Jang Young Nam—and Study Group, which featured Hwang Min Hyun, Han Ji Eun, Cha Woo Min, Lee Jong Hyun, Shin Su Hyun, and Yoon Sang Jung. In the same year, he also made special cameo appearances in Resident Playbook and Trigger.

Thanks to his growing popularity and strong performances, Park Yoon Ho has now secured his long-awaited film debut.

What Land Is About

The film Land tells the story of three women living in a struggling casino town built on an abandoned mine. Determined to change their lives, they plan a major bank heist—only to be dragged into an unexpected case that complicates their scheme.

The cast includes top talents Yeom Jung Ah, Kim Hye Yoon, and Cha Joo Young in leading roles.

Park Yoon Ho’s Role in Land

According to early reports, Park Yoon Ho will play Tae Gu, the son of characters portrayed by Yeom Jung Ah and Park Sung Woong. Despite his youth, Tae Gu grapples with debt and becomes a key figure in his mother’s plan to carry out the bank robbery.

This marks a pivotal step in Park Yoon Ho’s career as he transitions from television to film.

The Team Behind the Film

Director Han Dong Wook, best known for acclaimed projects such as The Worst of Evil, Man in Love, New World, and Nameless Gangster: Rules of Time, will helm the project. With his track record for crafting gripping crime stories, Land has already sparked strong anticipation among audiences.

Release Date

As of now, the official release date for Land has not been announced. Fans are eagerly waiting for further updates about its premiere.
