On Wednesday, the creators of director Phanindra Narsetti’s 8 Vasanthalu, starring Ananthika Sunilkumar in the lead role, unveiled the second single ‘Parichayamila,’ much to the joy of fans and movie enthusiasts.
This soulful track features vocals by one of India’s most renowned singers, Chitra, and is composed by Hesham Abdul Wahab, with lyrics crafted by Vanamaali.
According to sources, this recently released single is expected to serve as the introduction to the film.
Produced by Naveen Yerneni and Y Ravi Shankar, 8 Vasanthalu aims to deliver a deeply emotional cinematic experience. A recent teaser has heightened the audience’s anticipation for the film.
The teaser opens with a stunning, poetic scene showcasing Ananthika, who is caught in a rainstorm, quietly observing Sanjay, a new Telugu writer who has come to Ooty. A voiceover eloquently highlights his complexity: “When he writes with love, his words flourish like roses touched by rain. But when he writes with anger, they explode like unshackled grenades.“
As the teaser progresses, the relationship between the two characters becomes more significant, leading to a memorable line.
A woman’s voice expresses, “Girls prefer someone who tenderly wipes their tears and shows compassion, rather than one who brandishes a sword and displays only fury.“
The teaser wraps up with a poignant statement from the male protagonist: “Love is not a place to arrive at but a journey we are meant to experience.”
This sentiment beautifully captures the film’s emotional essence.
In addition to Ananthika Sunilkumar, the film will feature Hanu Reddy, Ravitheja Duggirala, Sanjana, Kanna, Swaraj Rebbapragada, and Sameera Kishore, among others.
Phanindra Narsetti’s impactful dialogues are complemented by breathtaking cinematography from Vishwanath Reddy and an emotionally resonant score by Hesham Abdul Wahab.
The film’s production design is handled by Aravind Mule, with editing by Shashank Mali. Babasai Kumar Mamidipalli serves as the executive producer, and the film is set to hit theaters on June 20.
