Nora Fatehi has come under fire after she was spotted in Mumbai without a face mask.
The Dilbar star was met with criticism as she recently recovered from Covid-19 after testing positive in December 2021.
Nora took to Instagram on January 7, 2022, to share a statement that read:
“Hey, guys! I have finally tested negative.
“Thank you for all your prayers and lovely messages. It’s been rough.
“I am gonna continue to work on getting my strength and energy back so I can kick a** this year.
“In the meantime stay safe guys.”
Soon after, the actress was spotted in Mumbai without a face covering.
Nora was seen wearing a light blue kurta teamed with white palazzo trousers.
While some appreciated her outfit, many social media users noticed that Nora had neglected Covid-19 safety measures despite having recently contracted the virus herself.
One user wrote: “These celebs are so hypocritical, giving advice then doing the complete opposite.”
Another added: “Wear a mask, you’re going to get coronavirus again.”
A third commented: “She’ll test positive again in no time.”
Nora Fatehi had contracted the virus in December 2021. She had taken to Instagram to update her 36.9 million followers.
In her Instagram Story, Nora wrote: “Hey guys, unfortunately, I am currently battling Covid…
“It has honestly hit me real hard!
“I’ve been bedridden for a few days now under doctor supervision.
“Please stay safe guys, wear your masks, it’s spreading fast and can affect everyone differently.”
On the work front, Nora was recently seen in Guru Randhawa’s music video for ‘Dance Meri Rani’.
Whilst the song has gone viral on social media including Instagram and TikTok, Nora’s appearance in the music video itself was criticised.
Many netizens compared the actress’ look in the music video with Colombian singer Shakira due to Nora’s tightly-curled hair.
Before the release of ‘Dance Meri Rani’, Nora Fatehi was pictured with Guru Randhawa in Goa, which sparked rumours that the two were dating.
However, the rumours were put to rest when Nora shared the stills from their new song and confirmed that the two were simply working together.
In other news, Nora Fatehi has been making headlines for her association with alleged conman Sukesh Chandrasekhar.
According to reports, Nora Fatehi and fellow actress Jacqueline Fernandez received expensive gifts from Sukesh.
Sukesh has previously been linked to Jacqueline Fernandez, with speculation that she has been dating him over the past year.
While she has denied the rumours, selfies of them both looking cosy and kissing each other on the cheek have recently recirculated online.
In a recent statement, Jacqueline requested the media to not circulate intimate images and not to invade her privacy at a difficult time, which she described as “a rough patch”.
During India’s Enforcement Directorate (ED) questioning, Nora Fatehi allegedly revealed that Sukesh gifted her a luxury car, a designer handbag and a smartphone.
