Bollywood megastar Shah Rukh Khan’s eldest son, Aryan Khan, is preparing to make his directorial debut in the Hindi film industry with The Ba***ds Of Bollywood. Scheduled to debut on Netflix, the series is said to be a satire on the treatment of outsiders in Bollywood. The announcement of the project in February this year has generated significant anticipation among fans. The announcement video excitement ensued when SRK and Aryan appeared together for the first time. For those interested in the project, Netflix CEO Ted Sarandos recently shared insights about it.

During a conversation with Saif Ali Khan at the WAVES Summit 2025, where he discussed new titles on the streaming platform, Sarandos shed light on Aryan’s forthcoming series. He described it as “really fun” and mentioned that he had already watched four episodes. He indicated that he would let the audience discover the full title of the show on their own.

Quoted by the Hindustan Times, he stated, “We have a show called The Ba***ds of Bollywood coming up that is truly entertaining, and I’m going to let the audience figure out the complete title, but it’s really enjoyable. I’ve watched four episodes so far.”

Sarandos also mentioned that the show will feature Lakshya, known for Kill, and Sahher Bambba from Pal Pal Dil Ke Paas. Furthermore, he teased that the series will include special and unexpected cameos from Bollywood stars such as Salman Khan and Ranbir Kapoor. Saif also pointed out that his children, Sara Ali Khan and Ibrahim Ali Khan, have made brief appearances in the show. He shared, “I have to say I caught a glimpse of that show too, and it looked amazing. My kids have a small role in it.”

The upcoming Netflix series, The Ba***ds Of Bollywood, is also reported to include Bobby Deol and Mona Singh in significant roles. Initially titled Stardom, this comedy-action series is currently awaiting an official release date, and it is being produced by Aryan’s mother, Gauri Khan.
