KAJOL’S DIGITAL DEBUT ‘DEVI’ FIRST POSTER
Pretty Bollywood actress Kajol is all set to make her debut in the digital domain with the thought-provoking short film, ‘Devi’. The first poster of the short film was shared by Kajol on her Instagram, along with the date when its first teaser will hit social media – which happens to be 24th February. That is when Kajol fans will get their first inkling of what the buzzy film is all about.
The poster in itself is stark, devoid of frills and absolutely in-your-face. The nine women of varying ages and socio-economic backgrounds that make up the principal cast stare defiantly out of the poster, at a world that has only ever tried to trample their independence and their very essence under its insolent feet.
Yes, the first poster manages to convey all this and more, in one mere glimpse. Kajol, Shruti Haasan, Neha Dhupia, Neena Kulkarni, Mukta Barve, Sandhya Mhatre, Rama Joshi, Shivani Raghuvanshi, and Yashaswini Dayama are those fiery actresses that, in the course of the short film, will bring to the fore a disturbing truth.
Sharing the poster of Devi on Instagram, Kajol wrote, “A tale of nine women navigating through an unusual sisterhood thrust upon them by circumstance. The teaser of our powerful short film drops on 24th February 2020!”
