NEW SHORT FORM SERIES ‘FIRSTS’ from dice media

Dice Media and Pocket Aces are masters of innovation when it comes to delivering OTT content to its massive number of followers, exactly as they like it.
Realizing the disruptive quality of ultra-short-form video, quite the rage ever since TikTok has turned into a worldwide phenomenon, the digital content creators have come up with a new form of presenting its storytelling — in the form of bite-sized episodes, each of just one-minute length.
It’s a new web series, called ‘Firsts’, is a sweet tale of school romance, teenage infatuation and the first whiff of love between young school-going kids. Much like TVF’s 2018 web series, Flames, it is a soft, delightful, squeaky-clean series that is certain to warm the cockles of your hearts.
What makes the series remarkably different setting it miles apart from the clutter, is that the entire story is narrated in 24 episodes of one minute each. That is 24 minutes of heady content, which when you watch it in its entirety, doesn’t feel like it is only 24 minutes long.
The characters are relatable, and you feel close to them; almost as if you’ve watched the story unfold over several hours, not minutes. Rohan Shah, Apoorva Arora, Viraj Ghelani and Urvi Singh make up the cast of four teenagers, stepping into the wondrous world of first-time love. The series is written by Pranav Tonsekar and directed by Nayana Shyam.
Pocket Aces has certainly hit upon a novel way to take their storytelling skills forward.
