The most awaited period drama Aakashavaani written and directed by Ashwin Gangaraju is going to premiere on the digital platform Sony LIV. Ashwin Gangaraju happens to be from the school of renowned filmmaker Rajamouli who worked with him in the direction department.

Bankrolled by Padmanabha Reddy under AI and U Studios, Aakashavaani stars Samuthirakani and Vinay Varma in lead roles. The teaser released by Rajamouli a couple of months back has received great response from the audience for its unique content against the backdrop of a village and the ending dialogue by Samuthirakani in the teaser, ‘Sheenu, something is going wrong here’ has created lot of buzz.

Leading music director MM Keeravani’s son, Singer Kaala Bhairava is providing the music for the film Aakashvaani. The two songs ‘Mana Kona’ and ‘Dhimsare’ released so far have already made an impact with catchy tunes.

Leading author Sai Madhav Burra is providing the dialogues while Suresh Raghutu is the cinematographer of this film. National Award recipient Shrikar Prasad is handling the editing of the film.

While Aakashavaani is originally slated for release in theaters has opted for a digital release due to the prevailing situation and it will stream on the most popular digital platform SonyLiv in August 2021.
