‘The Conversion’ : A sensitive tale on religious conversions

The Conversion is a new film being made on the story based on religious conversions and its consequences. Touted to be a love triangle story between three characters Sakshi, Bablu, and Dev, The Conversion sensitively explores the dilemma of religious conversions that happen during love marriages in India.

Vindhya Tiwari, Prateek Shukla, and Ravi Bhatia play the lead roles in this film which is directed by Vinod Tiwari who earlier made the action comedy Teri Bhabhi Hai Pagle with Vandana Tiwari contributing the story. Music is by Anamik Chauhan and  Navneet Beohar is the director of photography.

The Conversion is a Nostrum Entertainment Hub presentation produced by Bhojraj Nawani, Raj Patel and Vipul Patel.

The new poster of the film which was released today also stars Sapna Choudhary, Vibha Chibber, Sunita Rajwar, Amit Behl, Sandeep Yadav, Sushil Singh, Vijay Trivedi and Manoj Joshi in pivotal roles.

The Conversion, set against the backdrop of Varanasi is much more than just a love triangle as it touches various glaring misdemeanours that surround the religious conversions in the context of inter caste love marriages unraveling the other side of these marriages.

The Conversion is slated to release in the month of August 2021 as further details and exact date of release are yet to be known.
