The Public and Commercial Services Union (PCS) says a programme of strikes will be outline on Friday 18 November unless its terms can be met by the government.
“Action involving all members in the areas which meet the legal requirements would be called to have the maximum effect, including coordinated action with other unions,” a release by the union adds.
PCS is asking for a 10% pay rise for its members alongside a host of other benefits, such as job security and “no cuts to redundancy terms.”
Land Registry staff voted to strike by a majority of 82.5% and the Registers of Scotland by 90.6%.
Of the civil service employers balloted, 86 missed the turnout threshold of 50%.
Strike action promises to be the first major public-facing challenge for chairman Nilesh (Neil) Sachdev, who was appointed to the role just two months ago.
The Land Registry has been approached for comment.
