Maci Bookout‘s ex, Ryan Edwards, has been controversial among fans for basically as long as he’s been on the show.
Now, after his time on the show officially ended, Ryan will be making a return.

After parting ways with MTV in a less than amicable split, Ryan Edwards will be back on Teen Mom in an upcoming reunion episode.
This news comes from Instagram account @teenmomfanz, which reports: “Ryan Edwards to appear on ‘Teen Mom Family Reunion’ reunion, ‘The Aftermath,’” along with a quote: “Ryan showed up in a way that people have never seen him show up.”
This report contradicts Ryan’s equally controversial wife Mackenzie Edwards claim that they declined a recent request from MTV to appear on the show.
In this Instagram Live from August, Mackenzie claims that MTV hit her and Ryan up with an offer to return to the show.
She says that after Ryan “heard them out” for a little while, he told them “I don’t want anything of what you are selling.”
“It feels so good to be able to stand up to a network like that and say ‘Go screw yourself,’” Mackenzie said.
“Because at this point, what good would that do for anybody?”
It looks like MTV has offered enough money for Mack and Ryan to change their minds.
As for Maci Bookout, she’s recently opened up about her views on Ryan.
Maci got candid about her son’s father during the Teen Mom: The Next Chapter reunion special.
Fans have become familiar with Ryan as he has been on the show for many years. Although the reality star has dealt with his own legal and personal struggles.
“Is Bentley going over to see Ryan?” Maci was asked during the reunion, according to The Sun.
Maci and Taylor McKinney both shook their heads “no.” In follow up, they were asked if Ryan was in Bentley’s life at all.
