Despite not keeping in touch after their shocking affair, Tom Sandoval and Raquel Leviss seem to be keeping the peace…at least that’s what Tom thinks. The bartender recently sent his former flame birthday wishes, and Raquel wanted nothing to do with it.
Following their shocking affair, Raquel Leviss and Tom Sandoval admitted that they didn’t stay in a relationship after the Vanderpump Rules season 10 reunion.
Raquel spent her time in a mental health facility while Tom went on tour with his band, Tom Sandoval & The Most Extras.
However, it seemed like Tom may still have been stuck up on Raquel when it was revealed that he brought photos of the former beauty pageant queen with him while filming Special Forces: World’s Toughest Test.
Former Bachelor star Nick Viall explained that it was against the rules to bring certain items, including photographs.
He noted that Tom shared the images with the rest of the cast, even though they were contraband. The 42-year-old recalled, “He went out of his way to bring in, like, endearing photos of him and Rachel and show them around.”
As for Raquel, she recently opened up about how she felt manipulated by the 40-year-old. Raquel left an Instagram comment on podcaster Jared B’s post calling out the former SURver for continuing the relationship with Tom despite knowing he was still with Ariana Madix.
“You’re not wrong,” Raquel admitted. “I should have had more self respect than that and should have respected the relationship that Ariana had with Tom. No excuses.”
The 28-year-old explained that she was ultimately fed a narrative by Tom that altered her from making any clear decisions.
“However, looking back, I see I had low self-worth and Tom kept telling me he was actively breaking up with her “amicably” for her “mental health,” which I can now see was magical thinking,” Raquel wrote.
She added, “He had a million and one reasons why they hadn’t broken up yet and it was easier to stay in that fantasy then to face the fact that the social anxiety and isolation was not worth it. So yes, absolutely you’re 100% right.”
