Once again, Rage Against the Machine are postponing the start of their Public Service Announcement Tour with Run the Jewels. The first show of the tour had been scheduled for Thursday, March 31 in El Paso, Texas. Instead, the kickoff concert is now on Saturday, July 9 at Alpine Valley Music Theatre in East Troy, Wisconsin. The Public Service Announcement Tour had been split into a spring leg and a summer leg. The now-postponed spring leg was going to occur between March 31 and May 23. The band is planning to reschedule the spring dates. The summer tour dates remain intact.
Rage Against the Machine first announced their reunion shows in 2019. At the time, the band was scheduled to headline the 2020 Coachella Valley Music and Arts Festival, too. Of course, the 2020 edition of Coachella never occurred, and Rage Against the Machine are not lined up to play the rescheduled 2022 event. As a result of the new postponement, Rage Against the Machine are also no longer performing at the 2022 Boston Calling Music Festival.
