The rush is unprecedented when it comes to the latest SRK film – Pathan. The spy thriller was badly mired in controversy with fringe elements leaving no stone unturned to tame the movie. But it’s the magic of SRK, which gives him the big comeback after his average performance in the movie – Zero. So, Pathan proves to be a Zero to Hero film for SRK. The box office day collection for the first day has been incredible and is going at an incredible pace.

Pathan First Day Box Office Collection

As per reports, the Pathan took a good start from first getting a whopping 51 Crores opening at the box office. With this, the SRK film has broken the records of the films like War which collected 50 Crore, while was not able to beat KGF 2 that collected around 52 Crores. The R Day release remained a perfect match for the makers and the movie was also released in other languages too like Telugu and Tamil, and if add them up, it will score higher.

The Yash Raj Films’ latest venture with SRK at the midst is enjoying the great stardom in the B Town. If you look at the collections through advance booking, the film already bagged huge collection on this big day. All the major multiplexes including PVR, INOX and Cinepolis were able to draw the audience in a big way. Thus, we now see the trade pundits claiming that the SRK film will give a good start to Bollywood. The Boycott trend barely had to do anything with the movie’s performance at the box office. Needless to say, that the first weekend collection is likely to touch 200 Crores, well let’s wait and watch!
