Apart from senior politicians, activists and intellectuals, the celebrities from Indian film Industry have also condemned her comment. She, despite apologising about her tweet and deleting it after severe criticism, is being grilled by netizens for disrespecting Indian armed forces.

Anupam Kher who was also seen working with Nikhil Siddharth in thriller drama Karthikeya 2, also slammed Richa Chadha for her remark and called it ‘shameful’.
Recently Bollywood actor Akshay Kumar also criticized Richa Chadha and wrote, “Hurts to see this. Nothing ever should make us ungrateful towards our armed forces. Woh hain toh aaj hum hain.”
Ashoke Pandit, and Kay Kay Menon also expressed their disappointment.
