On March 15, online streaming platform Viu and entertainment company MakerVille held a press conference in Hong Kong to reveal what they have in store for viewers.
Viu invited Lee Je Hoon to speak at the press conference. The actor stars in the popular Korean drama series Taxi Driver, with season two currently airing on SBS and streaming on Viu.
Lee Je Hoon shared that if Taxi Driver gets a season three, he’d love to film some scenes in Hong Kong! He even had an idea in mind.

Viu also introduced Viu Scream Dates, through which fans can get up close and personal with different celebrities. Currently, confirmed artists include Lee Je Hoon and Lee Seung Gi.
On the other hand, MakerVille invited the cast and crew of their two upcoming movies for the press conference. The first movie is Mad Fate, a thriller revolving around a fortune teller and a delivery boy obsessed with blood and knives.
The movie premiered at the Berlin International Film Festival and will be in theatres on April 20. Starring veteran actor Lam Ka Tung and rising actor Lokman, who is also the leader of Hong Kong’s top boy group MIRROR, the movie gained much attention even before its official release.
Last but definitely not least, MIRROR took the stage at the press conference to officially speak about their upcoming movie, WE 12, for the first time. As members Anson Lo and Edan are busy filming in Japan, only ten members attended.
Even though the movie is only in its early stages of production, fans have been buzzing about this movie as it’s a rare opportunity for the 12-member boy group to get together for such a large project.
The plot also got fans anticipating the character each member would take on.
M12 is an underground organization fighting for justice. Twelve geniuses possess special skills. In a mission of stopping a mad scientist from harming the world, M12 unfortunately fell into a trap and the operation failed. [The members of] M12 know that they must complete the task, and finally unite to act in unison!
