However, the Bhool Bhulaiyaa 2 actor recently created waves for some other reason, and it’s regarding his removal from Karan Johar’s Dostana 2. The producer who praised Kartik’s Shehzada trailer has reportedly been sacked from his project, Dostana 2. Kartik Aaryan has finally reacted to this news.
In an interview with the media, Kartik Aaryan was asked why Karan Johar dropped him from Dostana 2. He responded: “This happens from time to time. I haven’t even mentioned it until now. I trust what my mom taught me. It is also in our culture that when the elders and the younger ones disagree, the younger ones do not raise their voices. I’m following her. I never talk about it, and I still don’t want to talk about it.”

Kartik Aaryan also clarified Karan Johar’s statement about him
Reportedly, KJo had stated that Kartik used to get Rs. 1.25 lakh for his films. However, he demanded Rs. 20 crores and left the project when the filmmaker refused this huge sum of money as a fee.
When asked about this, Kartik Aaryan said, “Did he really say this? Chinese whispers are everywhere, and this kind of news keeps doing the rounds. They are nobody’s quotes. They arrive as news from the source and are published with a question mark. But people end up believing it. I have never left the film for money. Yes, I am greedy, but not for money. I am greedy for scripts.”
Meanwhile, Kartik Aaryan stated that he now has an excellent connection with Karan Johar. He also congratulated him on the release of the teaser of his film Shehzada, which is being directed by Rohit Dhawan and will be released in theatres on February 10, 2023. Kartik Aaryan was last seen in Freddy’s Day alongside Alaya F. He also has some interesting projects like Aashiqui 2, Hera Pheri 3, Captain India, and others.
