Earlier this week, news broke that David Beador filed a petition for divorce from his wife, Lesley Beador.
Lesley then refuted those claims on Instagram, saying that Daivd withdrew his petition. But according to new court documents, it looks like David is still asking for a divorce.
Earlier this week, TMZ reported that Shannon Beador’s ex-husband, David Beador, filed for divorce from his wife Lesely Beador. The couple almost made it two years into their marriage, but the divorce filing came just one month short.
As for the reason why they split, TMZ reports that it was a matter of “irreconcilable differences.”
But Lesley later claimed that her husband backtracked on his decision to file for divorce.
“My husband filed a request for dismissal a few days ago,” she wrote in an Instagram story. “Now back to your regularly scheduled programming.”
Page Six has now reported that Lesley’s claims are false.
According to a public information officer for the Superior Court of California in Orange County told the outlet that there hasn’t been any dismiss for the petition “at this time.”
On Wednesday they also confirmed that no request was waiting to be filed and there was no evidence of a dismissal request in the court docket.
Obviously this is going to be a very messy situation. David has not publicly commented on the divorce filing, but Lesley continued to publicly refute any claims that they are proceeding with a split.
But as for the original petition, TMZ claimed that David was seeking joint custody of the couple’s 15-month-old daughter, Anna Love Beador. The couple also has a prenup, so he won’t be asking her to pay any spousal support.
Meanwhile, Shannon seems to be very happy in her relationship. She recently opened up about just how well things are going between her and her beau.
Shannon explained on the Season 16 reunion of The Real Housewives of Orange County the the couple has no solid plans for their future together. “We do talk about it but it’s not something that we need to rush to do.”
However, she definitely did not rule out the possibility!
“We’re happy,” the 58-year-old went on to say. “I have two kids that are going to be home for another year and a half, so I’m not doing anything right now.”
Her youngest daughters are now in high school at 17-years-old. That could mean that Shannon is now ready to take the next step! She delivered a big update about her relationship.
“Three years ago today John and I had our first date and I sang karaoke for the first time!” she wrote on her Facebook and Instagram pages along with some photos of the couple. “It seems like yesterday, yet I can’t imagine life with out you! Happy three years sweetheart!”
Do you think Lesley and David will go through with divorce proceedings?
