Our country India recorded 1,68,063 new coronavirus infections taking the total tally of COVID-19 cases to 3,58,75,790 that includes 4,461 cases of the Omicron variant. The active Covid-19 cases rose to 8,21,446, the highest in 208 days, while the number of deaths climbed to 4,84,213 with 277 fresh fatalities.
Number of celebrities from Tollywood and Bollywood have revealed that they tested positive for the Coronavirus. Few days ago, Telugu superstar Mahesh Babu announced that he is tested +ive for corona. Today his Sarkaru Vaari Paata co star, Keerthy Suresh, the national award winning actress also announced that she tested positive for the Coronavirus.
Mahanati fame Keerthy Suresh herself confirmed the same by sharing a post on social media that read: Hi everyone, I have tested positive for COVID-19, experiencing mild symptoms, despite taking all necessary precautions and safety measures, which is a scary reminder of the rate at which the virus is spreading. Please follow all the COVID safety norms and stay safe. I am currently in isolation and under safe care. Those who came in close contact with me, kindly do get tested.”
Legendary singer Lata Mangeshkar was also recently admitted to a Mumbai hospital after she was diagnosed with COVID-19.
